The Singapore Tourism Accelerator is a highly-selective, equity-free programme for the world’s most promising tech startups and scaleups that can power the travel and tourism industry. Startups selected for the accelerator will gain access to market with major industry players like Singapore Airlines, Changi Airport, Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa and many more. They are actively recruiting solution providers for 24 challenge statements across a range of verticals and a full list of challenge statements can be found here.

Key Dates & Details

• Application period: February 1 – March 15 (APPLY HERE)

• Successful applicants will be invited to a digital information session with the industry partners on Tuesday 30th March to help them prepare for a shortlisting interview between 5th and 9th April 2021. 

• Programme dates: May 2021 – September 2021 

• Up to 15 startups will be selected for the 6-week incubation period, after which point the top companies will be invited to pilot market-ready solutions with key corporate partners for an additional three months

• Startups will receive a stipend of SGD $4000 (~US $3000) to assist with temporary relocation to Singapore

• Startups will have unrivalled access to some of the leading organisations in Singapore’s tourism sector and will receive funding support of up to 70% of qualifying costs, to a maximum SGD25,000 (~US $18900) to conduct a pilot project

 Both startups and scaleups are encouraged to apply. The programme will take place in Singapore and relocation assistance will be provided. The first 6 weeks will focus on adapting product-market fit – either to the hospitality and tourism sector or to scale within Singapore and Asia, before conducting a pilot with one of the industry pilot partners. All startups must have a minimum viable product (MVP) to be eligible to apply.
