Deadline & Information Day: Shell StartUpEngine – Singapore Only


The Shell StartUp Engine is a global innovation programme for early to mid-stage energy start-ups looking to develop their capabilities and power business growth within the smart, clean energy landscape.
Our aim is to deliver more and cleaner energy solutions to help meet Singapore and Asia’s growing needs. Leading this transition to a low carbon future, Shell Startup Engine’s objective is to help grow and stimulate the smart, clean energy startup ecosystem in Singapore, creating value for both entrepreneurs and the society.

The energy sector is transforming fast and we invite start-ups from Singapore with exciting technologies to join us and power the future of smart, clean energy together.

Startups in early to mid-stages that fulfil the following criteria:

 

  • Registered in Singapore or have significant business operations in Singapore
  • Raised not more than SGD$5 Million in funding
  • Less than SGD$15 million in annual sales turnover
  • A group employment size between 2 to 200 employees (this includes founders and co-founders)
  • Minimum of 30% local ordinary shareholding (This requirement applies only for purposes of the post-programme funding opportunity)
  • A solution that falls within the following focus areas

The programme is open to eligible start-up entities with solutions that can support the Singapore Energy Story. This includes but is not limited to the following focus areas:
