EY Japan are working with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) to boost Tokyo’s status as an international finance capital and one of the promoted fields is green finance, ESG and FinTech. To accomplish the goal, TMG is prepared to provide incentives support and awards to make it easier and more attractive for FinTech and Asset Management companies.

Green Finance Subsidy Program for Tokyo Market Entry
TMG provides subsidy to the companies who conducts a green finance business and will open a location in Tokyo.
Applicant requirements
FinTech or Asset Management companies registered in overseas who conducts a green finance related business, and can open an office in Tokyo March 2024.
